Job Description

Salary: $187,200 - 187,200 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking someone with 9+ years of enterprise infrastructure and architecture experience.
• We require 5+ years in a network architect, security architect, solution architect, or principal consultant role.
• Strong background in enterprise network architecture is essential, including data center, campus, WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud environments.
• We need solid architecture-level knowledge of network security, including next-generation firewalls, segmentation, zero trust, identity integration, and security policy governance.
• Experience creating and presenting HLDs, LLDs, technical roadmaps, and executive architecture recommendations is required.
• We are looking for someone who has led multiple large-scale infrastructure and security initiatives at the same time, balancing priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Hands-on experience with leading networking platforms such as Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, or similar technologies is expected.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security principles across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments is required.
• We need proven design oversight, mentorship, implementation governance, and quality assurance experience for engineering teams.
• You must be able to serve as a senior escalation point for complex network, security, and infrastructure issues in large enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to influence technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.

• We lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale network and security solutions across data center, WAN/LAN, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• We own technical strategy across multiple concurrent initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals, security standards, and enterprise architecture requirements.
• We act as the technical leader and escalation point for complex networking and security challenges.
• We guide engineering teams and provide governance from solution design through deployment.
• We partner with infrastructure, security, cloud, and business teams to turn complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
• We build consensus among technical and executive stakeholders.
• We mentor network and security engineers through delegation, technical reviews, and quality assurance.
• We develop and present high-level and detailed solution designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• We lead architecture reviews and executive briefings.
• We identify risk and provide strategic recommendations for enterprise technology decisions.

We are hiring a remote Solution Architect / Principal Consultant for a 6-month-plus contract with likely extensions, supporting a large Fortune 10 environment. This role is focused on enterprise network and security architecture across data center, campus, cloud, and hybrid environments, with strong technical leadership and governance responsibilities. Compensation is up to $90 W2+ depending on experience, and the role may include discretionary bonuses along with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
